Refined Rustic Railroad Cart Coffee Table

A Maple top makes this table stand out. The dark scratches and cracks along the surface are set off by the blond wood. The hardware has been painted. The relief casting is visible in the side teardrop wheels and the corner brackets. The stencil on the frame is overlaid with remains of a white pigment. ESP Lineberry Foundry cart - A striking coffee table

This breathtaking teardrop-wheel cart with the coveted ESP corner brackets has become a breathtaking coffee table. The ESP corner brackets, with their unusual shape, extending the length of the cart, give the impression of a longer, sleeker shape, though the wood top is the same dimensions: 27 x 48. The length including the brackets is 54 inches, and the height of the tabletop is 16 inches. The wood top is beautifully smooth, but with a rich detail of dark oak grain. It is finished with a medium dark Red Oak color.


The stencil on the side is all original - we don't reproduce or fake them. The hardware is polished, bringing out the dramatic raised part number on the side axle bracket, the corner brackets, and the wheels. One of the side wheels has the scarce and striking LINEBERRY in extra large letters. Dimensions: 27 x 48 x 16

A striking new coffee table, with wide Oak decking boards, original to the cart, with the scars to prove it. A reclaimed cart with antique wood. In addition to the usual scratches and grooves, a unique surface pattern led us to call this the 'shotgun cart.' A craftsman likely secured the piece he was working on to one side (hence the grooves), and pre-set nail holes, perhaps, into the other side (hence the divots). Whatever its history, it resulted in a gorgeous, textural top surface. But that's not the only focal point to this cart - the stencil on the side of the frame (original, NOT re-inked) is strong, and the polished cast iron hardware has clear, strong part numbers in relief. Oversize and Unique - furniture factory cart coffee table

This new cart just in from the shop today is unique! The first thing to catch your eye is the cast iron hardware - the large side wheels have a deep relief circle pattern with many levels of detail. The corner brackets make clear the age of the hardware - this extra heavy, solid, thick iron is from some of the earliest produced carts. The end caster wheels are solid, rarely seen in these factory carts. The dark chocolatey wood finish is just as eye-catching, though, with the swirls and whorls and knots in the grain. The hardware has been polished and sealed. The cart is an inch and a half out of level, due to the nature of the frame and hardware. This cart is extra large - oversize dimensions: 34 x 57 x 16 1/2

Kitchen Island Bar Cart

Reengineered from reclaimed furniture factory cart frames, this kitchen bar table is the perfect size for a range of uses. It makes a functional, mobile island or a fashionable bar cart.  The frame is made of White Oak factory cart frames, with Pine top decking.  The structure is made of reclaimed steel, which still shows its original blue paint, that has been sealed.  The wheels are the original cast iron hardware from the furniture factory carts, and the copper towel bar makes a shiny addition.

Because this table makes use of four original cast iron wheels, this cart is very stable - no three-wheel teetering.  It stays firmly in place, but is mobile enough to roll out of the way when needed.
